About me
Please let me introduce myself; my name is Mark Armitage, originally from Rotherham in South Yorkshire, now based in Saddleworth, Greater Manchester.
I started my creative path back in 1994 when I studied a Foundation in Art & Design at the Rotherham college of Arts where I found a particular talent and passion for Photography. From here I moved on to study Photography in more depth at the Sheffield College and finally on to Newcastle where I graduated in 1999.
I went on to work as a Photographers assistant in Edinburgh, Image retoucher for a Sports Photo agency and as a freelance Public relations and Promotions Photographer in Nottingham and more recently Leeds.
I now specialise as a creative Wedding Photographer and cover Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
